The brown, the invisible feeling

Brown is a color that often goes unnoticed, taken for granted, almost invisible. Yet, it contains warmth, sacrifice, and the life cycle of nature. With this artistic research, I aim to bring it back into focus, exploring its emotional nuances and the profound meaning it holds. Every color influences us unconsciously, envelops us, and communicates something, even if we are not aware of it. I choose to tell this story to encourage understanding, urging the viewer to observe the world with greater awareness and rediscover the value that colors bring to our lives.

The inspiration comes from the curiosity to assign a personal meaning to brown, just as many artists before me have reinterpreted and transformed the language of color. My goal is to go beyond its apparent simplicity and restore the space it deserves, revealing its hidden value.

We live in a fast-paced world, full of distractions and approximations. We never really stop to observe what surrounds us, and the same happens with colors. With this project, I want to tell the story of brown in a clear and accessible way, transforming it from a silent background into a protagonist.

I have allowed myself to be carried away by this color in all its forms and shades, immersing myself in its essence to give it an authentic meaning. I have created images ranging from figurative to photography, and even abstract, to show how communicative and rich in emotions brown can be.

Through this variety of images, I invite the viewer to look at brown with new eyes, discovering sensations they may never have noticed before. Each image is a piece of a larger story: that of a color that, though remaining in the shadows, sustains the world with its constant presence.
