Ongoing Works and Projects
Commissioned Works
An image that conveys serenity and tranquility while simultaneously evoking the culture and beauty of an extraordinary people.
I would like to thank Giada for her trust and for commissioning this work, allowing me to explore and reinterpret the cultural richness of Central Africa through my art.
Project on War
The project dedicated to the theme of war is now complete. Since it includes images that may be intense or touch on sensitive topics, and given the complexity of the subject, anyone interested in exploring it further can contact me privately for more information.
The project stems from the idea that to truly understand war, it is necessary to change perspective, stepping into the shoes of others: those who live it, those who suffer from it, and those who observe it from afar. We live in a reality fortunately distant from war, but we often ignore or minimize what it truly means.
Through these images, I aim to evoke a sense of discomfort in the viewer, forcing them to confront the horror and inhumanity that war brings. Only through empathy and deep reflection can we hope to understand the weight of a reality that, though distant, is still part of our world.
War Seen from Above, Below, and Up Close
This artwork consists of three images that tell the story of war through different perspectives, inviting the viewer to reflect on the brutality and absurdity of conflict.
Seen from above: A dark, almost anonymous face represents the power that controls and sends soldiers to the frontlines. Its sadistic smile and attitude of complete indifference embody the disregard of those who govern the fate of thousands of lives, turning war into a game of strategies, devoid of humanity.
Seen up close: The viewpoint of the soldiers, who experience the reality of the conflict firsthand. Here, war translates into loss, fear, and sacrifice, highlighting the fragility of human life in the face of violence.
Seen from below: A focus on what remains afterward. The devastation, pain, and emptiness that follow every conflict serve as a silent warning, urging us to understand and prevent these tragedies.
